Scenic Carpenter
As the Scenic Carpenter, you will bring into reality the scenic designer’s vision. You are a craftsperson with a wide range of skills in woodworking, welding and rigging. You will be part of collaborative team; building, installing and removing all the elements that make up the scenery for all Hartford Stage productions.

Wardrobe and Wig Run Crew
As the Wardrobe and Wig Run Crew you will bring all your problem solving and detail-oriented mindset in executing the dressing of actors for all performances. You are multi-talented who can think quickly on their feet in a fast-paced environment as you prepare and dress the actors for the stage.
Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be tested nightly as you ensure the actors wear the costume pieces as designed and determined by the designer. You work in conjunction with the Wardrobe Supervisor, and stage management and other crew to succeed.

Digital Marketing Associate
Hartford Stage is hiring a Digital Marketing Associate to support and grow the theater’s digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for managing email marketing, website updates, social media content, and digital signage, including lobby screens and the exterior marquee. The Digital Marketing Associate plays a key role in connecting audiences to Hartford Stage’s productions, programs, and mission through compelling and consistent digital communications. This position also supports the theater’s broader strategic goals by helping to drive ticket sales, promote fundraising initiatives, elevate education programs, and amplify community engagement efforts—ensuring that all digital outreach reflects the vibrancy and impact of Hartford Stage.

Press & Partnerships Manager
As the Press & Partnership Manager you will lead our publicity efforts and community engagement initiatives. This role is responsible for crafting and distributing press releases, managing media outreach and bookings, and organizing promotional appearances and events. In addition to media relations, the position will oversee several key audience development programs including StagePass, and will play a key role in building affinity nights and other community events. The Press & Partnership Manager will play a vital role in strengthening the theater’s public presence, expanding community connections, and supporting ticket sales and institutional visibility.

Company Manager / Assistant General Manager
As the company manager/assistant general manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of Hartford Stage, providing comprehensive support to all guest artists and assisting the general manager with contracts and reporting to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the company. You are a concierge, hotel manager, local tour guide, and travel agent! You are an incredible multitasker with stamina for a fast-paced environment where organizational skills, attention to detail, coordination, and flexibility are of the utmost importance while being dedicated to supporting both the creative and administrative functions of the theatre. This role provides an opportunity to learn how a theater runs, from the inside out!
