Hurricane Diane
June 5 – June 29, 2025
A perfect storm for an imperfect time.
In this thoroughly modern comedic take on ancient Greek mythology, Dionysus is now Diane, a permaculture gardener dripping with butch charm, who is extremely concerned about the fate of our planet. Diane plans to gather followers and restore the Earth to its natural state. Naturally, she begins in a suburban New Jersey cul-de-sac with four Monmouth County housewives in this provocative comedy about letting things get a little wild in the name of the greater good.
This Obie Award-winning play is an unconventional and wild 90-minute ride that is perfect for anyone who loves a good story, a good laugh, or a good bacchanalian catharsis in their backyard.
Hurricane Diane
June 5 – June 29, 2025
A perfect storm for an imperfect time.
Diane has a landscaping business, thousands of years of experience under her work belt, and a mythical knack for turning worlds upside down. The cosmic clock is ticking and at the eleventh hour, Diane discovers the fate of humanity is buried in a New Jersey suburb and that – oh, gods! – only the housewives can save us. Hurricane Diane is a provocative comedy about letting things get a little wild in the name of the greater good.
